Road Remains Closed Following RTC On Windyhill Road

The Windyhill Road in Macosquin outside Coleraine remains closed following a serious two-vehicle collision earlier this afternoon. The closure is in place just before the road's junction with Isle Road.
In a statement to Causeway Coast Community this evening a NIAS spokesperson said,
"The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 15:09 on Thursday 20 February following reports of a 2 vehicle RTC in the Dunboe Road area.
"NIAS despatched 1 Rapid Response Paramedic, 2 Emergency Crews and 2 Ambulance Officers to the incident. The Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS on board was also tasked to the incident.
"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken by ambulance to Causeway Hospital."
