Man Arrested & Released On Police Bail After Coleraine Collision

A man in his 20s was arrested and was released on police bail pending further enquiries, following a report of a one vehicle road traffic collision at the Dunhill Road area of Coleraine on Monday 17th March.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 11:20 on Monday 17 March following reports of a road traffic incident, involving a car and a young pedestrian, on Dunhill Road. NIAS despatched a Rapid Response Paramedic and one Emergency Crew to the incident.

Ambulance Control also tasked the Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS crew on board to attend. Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken by ambulance to Causeway Hospital.
