Dogs Removed from Ballycastle Premises Following Animal Cruelty Reports
Apr 07, 2025
Two dogs have been removed from a property in the McAuley Park area of Ballycastle following reports of animal cruelty.
The removal, which took place last week, was conducted by the Council with assistance from the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
A spokesperson for Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council said:
"Council is investigating a report relating to animal welfare in the Ballycastle area. As the investigation is active and ongoing, Council cannot comment any further at this stage."
Residents in the area had expressed growing concern for the welfare of the dogs in recent weeks.
